"We would highly recommend Sarah to anyone. When my young son started stuttering we were very concerned and wanted to get it looked at as soon as possible - Sarah was very friendly and professional and arranged to see us within a week. After a couple of visits she gave us lots of practical, helpful advice to address it and within a couple of weeks of implementing her recommendations the stutter had completely disappeared. She was great with my son and I could tell she genuinely cared about his progress. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again."

"Sarah, your expertise alongside your professional, patient and genuine approach was invaluable to us. Your family centred focus has had a lasting positive impact on our son's fluency and has helped our other children to support his fluency too. Sincere thanks for your support Sarah."
An adult who stammers:
"I enjoyed my sessions with Sarah, making me think about myself in new ways rather than just get annoyed and frustrated because I can’t get certain sounds out. I found it very difficult to vocalise my feelings towards my stammer before coming to her, but she helped me to try and understand the reasons why I talk the way I do, and find ways in which I can overcome it, to think of it not as a massive handicap but more something I can work on. If you too have a problem, go with an open mind and the desire to improve your speech and I’m sure she will help."
An adult who stammers:
"Stammering can often cause negative internal feelings and lack of confidence. I have found that it is simply not enough to rely on speech fluency techniques. NLP helps me in my daily life and I feel that a lot of what I have achieved over the last few years has been directly connected with it"
A Parent:
"We were very happy with the sensitive and fun manner in which our son's assessment was conducted. We received on the spot advice and a clear, comprehensive report outlining the next steps for his speech development. Thank you for your support Sarah!"
A Parent:
"Sarah really helped me cope when my 8 year old son, very suddenly and out of the blue, developed a stutter and some strange facial behaviours (blinking and odd mouth movements). We took him to A&E and the doctor ruled out seizure but gave us little other information, and when the next day his speech got much worse I was really panicking. Sarah took the time to speak with me and explain about stuttering, how it can suddenly onset and the sorts of things that can trigger it. She also helped to reassure me about the other motor tics.
We were lucky and his fluency seems to have returned of its own accord, but if his problems do return I will know who to contact and the type of treatment I should be seeking."
A Parent:
"I am happy for you to discharge him - should things take a turn for the worse and we feel he needs any help in the future, then you would definitely be the person I would contact. Your easy-going nature certainly won him over and that's quite an achievement with a sulky 13 year old boy! I don't think he would entertain anyone else if the need arises!"
